Mercedes-AMG A35 sedan confirmed for Australian debut

Launching in the fourth quater of year 2019, Mercedes has released an all new sedan bodystle for the A35 4matic range.
This A35 is powered by a 2-Litre four cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 225kW/400Nm of torque matched to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Driven by mercedes 4Matic all-weel drive system, the A35 sedan is capable of 4.8 Second 0-100km sprint and an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.
Affecting parameters such as throttle response, exhaust note, transmission shift points and stability control calibration, five driving modes are on offer with the A35 sedan - 'Slippery', 'Comfort', 'Sport', 'Sport+' and 'Individual', which allows drivers to choose their own settings.
Adaptive suspension will be available as an option to further enhance dynamics.
The A35 sedan is more conservative than its hatchback sibling with less less aggressive front styling. On the flip side, compared to the regular A-Class sedan, the A35 adds a more angular rear diffuser and twin pipes, as well as a subtle lip spoiler and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the A35 sedan is identical to the hatchback. The brand’s dual-screen MBUX multimedia system is standard equipment, as are AMG sports seats in either leather or Alcantara, and the AMG three-spoke steering wheel comes from other AMG models as well.
The AMG gets a more aggressive rear diffuser and twin exhaust pipes, a subtle lip spoiler, and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. A set of 19s are available, naturally.
